What a decision spread is for
A useful question has a body. Should I leave this job. Should I send the message. What am I actually protecting. Those are situations with resistance and a next step, even if the next step is to wait. A vague “what does the universe want” is not a decision. It is a way to keep the cards talking so you do not have to.
Omen’s three-card spread is situation, obstacle, and path. Situation is the room, not the rumor. Obstacle is what crosses you — sometimes an enemy, often a loyalty that has expired. Path is narrower than the panic and more possible. Together they are a ruling you can argue with, which is the point. If you cannot argue with a reading, it was not specific enough to matter.
How the question is held
You write the question in this browser. It is not posted. It is not used to train a personality for you. The cards for that pull are seeded from the question plus a one-time salt, so a new pull is a new cut — not a slot machine you keep cranking until The Sun appears.
The free opening shows all three cards with a short line each. That is enough, some days. When it is not, the deeper read is the same three cards, not a new deck: sections, a ruling, what to refuse, and a reflective next step. The cards do not change to make the paywall nicer.
What it will not do
A decision spread will not make the choice for you. It will not tell you what another person secretly feels. It will not replace a lawyer, a doctor, or a friend who can sit in the actual room. Omen is a reflective tool. If the question is medical, legal, or financial, the honest move is to get the kind of help that can be responsible for the answer.
If you need a binary yes or no, a three-card spread will frustrate you in a useful way. Omen’s Ask the Deck path uses Clear, Clouded, or Closed — a stamp about whether the question is even in a condition to be forced. That is a different job, explained on the yes-no spread page.

What is the best tarot spread for a decision?
A three-card spread that names situation, obstacle, and path. That is Omen’s free decision cut. Larger spreads help when the pattern is bigger than one choice, not when you are avoiding the choice.
Can I ask yes or no?
You can bring a yes-or-no fear. Omen will not stamp a fake binary on it in the free three-card. For a Clear / Clouded / Closed reading, use Ask the Deck. Honesty about uncertainty is part of the method.
Is my question stored on a server?
The question is written and kept in this browser for the ritual and your folio. It is not published. Treat the device as private, the same way you would a notebook.
